Nutrients, Diet and Acne - The Connection and Answer

There are many nutrients that the body needs to operate effectively. From vitamins, minerals, enzymes, antioxidents, amino acids and a host of others. Modern processed foods, and even un-fresh 'healthy' foods lack these nutrients.

So what can you expect if you don't eat nutrient dense foods on a daily basis?

Symptoms of ill health!

One such symptom is acne. Does acne make you feel healthy or unhealthy? It must be the latter. I persoanlly felt 'not quite right' when I had acne. Not only did I have acne, but felt under the weather more than the avergae person, felt physiaclly and mentally fatigued, and had other symptoms as well such as a sinus condition.

My diet throughout my life was poor, loaded with refined sugars and carbohydrates, along with a unhealthy dose of fatty foods. To add insult to my body I hardly ever ate nutrient dense foods. My body was starved of what it needed, and was bombarded with what it hated every single day.

It wasn't until I changed my eating habits that my symptons of ill health disappeared, including my acne. Changing diet is the starting point, and the ending point for most people suffering from acne. It is the answer to curing acne, and is my opinion and experience the best acne solution.

"Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food"

Hippocrates

Wise words indeed. Doctors are healers and take an oath to do more good than harm. In the 20th century all that changed in the western world, and the health and beauty of it's people disintergrated. Chronic conditions became the norm, from acne to cancer, diabetes to heart disease. People were not well physically, and this came down to mostly one factor - diet.

Modern food consumption is often full of refined sugars and fatty foods, containing little to no nutrient content and producing negative biochemicals like pro-inflammatory hormones. A lack of nutrients in the body results in an inefficent healing and building system, and this can cause symptoms from acne to fatigue and headaches to depression.

It is important then to get a good source of nutrients into the body on a daily basis. Feeding the body with the nutrients it needs is the best medicine there is. No pharmaceutical drug can replace that fact.

But another element of eating fatty and sugary foods is the hormonal effect it has on the body. An imbalance of hormones typically causes an inflammatory condition in the body, and this can result in acne.

Acne is actually a very common condition, and 1 in 5 adults get acne regularly. This is a sign of an inflammatory diet and lack of nutrients. To resolve most cases of acne requires simple changes in diet.

I have looked for many acne programs, from 3 day apples fasts, to lengthy liver cleanses, and to be honest diet changes are the most effective in the short term and long term.

In this blog I will show you the diet changes necessary to clear your acne once and for all. This will be your one-stop resource for the best acne solutions. I will also regularly recommend other free and paid resources so you can get as detailed and broad a look at the whole diet-acne puzzle...

Yet puzzle is actually a misleading word to use. By using a foundation of 2 concepts, we can base our diet on these and get greats results for our health and our skin. So remember this...

To clear your acne you need to follow to general diet rules:

1. Eat anti-inflammatory foods and don't eat pro-inflammatory ones.

2. Eat plenty of nutrient dense foods and avoid nutrient depleted ones.

Simple but powerfully effective.
